You told me you loved me--
Flaws and all.
I told you I cared--
And would catch you if you fall.
But I guess it's not enough--
I guess you need more.
Because all I get now--
Is "I'm sorry", nothing more.
And I'm not mad--
I just wish there was something I could do...
To try and lift your spirits up--
Just wanting happiness for you.
But I know we all cope--
In different ways...
All I hope for you--
Is brighter days.
And though it feels different--
Although it's not the same.
I can't help but feel like--
I'm the one to blame...
